Service — app developer for hire

App developer for hire, with design and store launch included

An app developer for hire usually means someone who writes code and leaves the rest to you. When you hire US APP Team, the design, the build, the store submission and the launch are all in one fixed price, and the finished app belongs to you.

What an app developer for hire should hand over at the end

The test of any hire is what you hold when it is over. With us that is a working app live on the App Store and Google Play, store listings that are written and approved, and a short handover of how the app is run. The Apple and Google developer accounts are in your name, the app platform account is yours and so is your data.

We keep admin access only while we build or while you are on a Care Plan. That is the opposite of a hostage app, where the developer owns the accounts and you have to negotiate to get your own users back.

02

Where hiring an app developer usually goes wrong

People who hire an individual developer tend to hit the same walls. The developer goes quiet halfway through. The build is finished but nobody can get it through App Review. The price was an hourly guess that kept growing. Or the accounts and code sit with the developer, so leaving costs more than staying.

Each wall has a plain answer. The scope and price are in a fixed written quote before you pay anything. You see the work at milestones instead of at the end. Half the price is held until store submission. And the accounts are yours from the first day. None of this needs trust in us, only an agreement you can read.

Fixed price versus an hourly app developer for hire

An hourly developer is paid for time, so every unknown becomes your risk. A vague feature, a slow store review or a redesign all add hours, and the invoice arrives after the fact. A fixed price turns the same unknowns into our risk, because the number is agreed before work starts.

That only works when the scope is written down, which is why the intro call and the quote come first. Our builds run from $3,500 for a Starter app to $7,500 for a Business app, and Custom builds are quoted up to $12,000. If you want something that is not in the quote, we price it as a change order before building it, so you never find out the cost afterwards.

What to have ready before you hire

You do not need technical words, only a few answers. They make the brief fast and the quote accurate.

Your idea in one sentence

If you can say who the app is for and what they do in it, the brief is easy.

The one feature that matters most

A Starter app is built around one core purpose. Knowing the main one keeps the quote honest.

Who signs in, and who pays

Say whether people need accounts and whether anything is paid inside the app. Payments and several roles usually point to the Business tier.

An app you want yours to feel like

A few names are enough. They save a lot of guessing about layout and tone.

Your brand basics

A logo, colors and any wording you already have. If you have none, the branding kit and copywriting add-ons cover it.

Any store accounts you already hold

If you enrolled in the Apple Developer Program or Google Play already, have the account email ready. If not, we set both up with you at kickoff.

04

When this is not the right app developer for hire

We are a poor match if you need engineers working on your product every week with no end date, because fixed price suits a defined build and not an open-ended roadmap. We are also not the right team for native 3D games, hardware products, heavy machine learning, or apps with strict regulatory compliance. And if you cannot yet describe what you want, fixed price will not work until the scope is clear.

If you are in that last group, the guided app brief is a good first step. It turns a loose idea into a written description you can hand to anyone, including us.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Is an app developer for hire cheaper than an agency?

A freelancer's hourly rate can look lower, but the total depends on how long the job takes and whether store submission is included. We quote one fixed price that includes the store launch: Starter from $3,500, Business from $7,500, Custom quoted up to $12,000.

Do you charge by the hour?

No. Builds are a fixed price in a written quote. Care Plans are monthly plans built around one active request at a time, not hours.

What if my developer disappears halfway through?

Milestone reviews keep the work visible, half the price is held until store submission, and your accounts and data are in your name from day one. There is no hostage app, because we hold admin access only while we build or run a Care Plan.

What happens if I want changes mid-build?

Each milestone includes two revision rounds. Anything beyond that is a change order, priced before any work starts.

Do I need technical skills to hire an app developer?

No. The guided brief takes about 15 minutes and asks plain questions. We handle the rest, including the store accounts and submission.

Do I own the app?

Yes. The app, the platform account, your Apple and Google developer accounts and your data are in your name from day one. We hold admin access only while we build or run a Care Plan.

Start with the guided brief, then book the free 30-minute intro call. Your fixed written quote arrives within 24 hours after it.
